One of the most mysterious questions of the 20th century is why Hitler the Adolph was so cruel towards the European Jews??
The Holocaust of the Jews in Germany and other European nations by Nazis around the 2nd world war, is one of the trademark introduction of the dictator's cruelty to the modern and post-modern world. Because of Hitler, Europe suffered a great destruction of Human Lives in second world war. Total human losses during the six years of war with USSR estimated at 60,000,000 of which 27,000,000 were Russians, Ukrainians, Jews and other people in Soviet territory. Germany lost over 11,000,000 soldiers and civilians. Poland and Yugoslavia lost over 3,000,000 people each. Italy and France lost over 1,000,000 each. Most nations of Central and Eastern Europe suffered severe--and in some cases total--economic destruction.
The exact number of people killed by Hitler could Never be known, but with different methods and researches the death tolls of Jews have been calculated to be around 5.1 Million to 6 Million which includes 3.0-3.5 Million Polish Jews. So, What made Hitler go for this devastating destruction of Human Lives, mainly targeting the Jews? The explanations that Hitler suffered a bad personal experience with Jews in his early Life, remained mere speculations as Hitler never expressed it clearly. Here are some of the probable reasons which could be true :
1) Communism : It was widely assumed around the Europe the then time that Jews are the communists and most of them are supporters of Marxism. Hitler himself was on the peak of hatred towards the communists as he used to call them "October Criminals". In many hardline right wing circles there was talk about a supposed 'Judeo-Bolshevist conspiracy'. Despite his ranting against Jewish businessmen Hitler saw the Jews as the 'biological root' of Bolshevism.
In Bavaria but not in other most parts of Germany a number of Marxists of Jewish origin had been prominent in the upheavals of 1918-1919. Most, like Ernst Toller and Erich Mühsam, for example, were idealistic utopians. They were not conspirators or traitors or anything of that sort. However, their origins were shamelessly exploited for propaganda purposes.

2) Christianity: Before a christian authority declared that "Jews were not guilty for the death of Jesus Christ", Jews were widely considered being guilty for the death of Christian god Christ. In the myths, it had been said that the Jews demanded for the crucifixion of Christ and said, "let it be upon our heads and that of our children." This became an excuse to abuse the Jews for more than a thousand years. Those Nazi Leaders along with Hitler would have been misguided by the influence of those myths to suppose Jews as their enemies.
3) Extreme Nationalism: The Nationalist leaders of Germany(many of them fought in the 1st world war) Used to consider the Jews for the shameful defeat of Germany in the 1st world war. Hitler himself was the soldier fighting for Germany and he used to consider Jews as one of the main reasons for Germany's defeat in 1st World war.

4) Economic Reasons: Hitler and Nazis assumed the Jew businessmen were responsible for the depression era of 1929 and so on as Germany was hit the hardest by the economic devastation, almost having the number of most unemployment in whole Europe. The Nationalists along with Nazi leaders were with the concept that the Jew businessmen set the world economy into crisis for their personal benefits, which straightly meant they were accused of the depression era.
Some Germans believed that "Jewish bankers" were responsible for the Treaty of Versailles.
5) The book : Hitler and many Nazis were influenced by the notorious anti Semitic book called "Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion."

6) Scapegoat: It is widely considered that if there was no depression, probably Hitler wouldn't have rose that high and that quick, and Nazi's used the theory of Hatred to unite their nationalists supporter. For which they ignited and inflamed the hatred over the Jews and executed they blind concept later, where Jews were used as scapegoats!
7) Personal Reasons : Hitler's Hatred towards Jews resembles his days in Vienna during 1907-1913, when he was trying his fate as a painter. He was rejected in an art school, where is is said the professors were the Jews though none of the member of selection panel was Jews. Beside, he also used to live in the Jew settlement for many years of his struggling career, which must have included some bitter experiences. (Speculations)
8) Jealousy : In the 1920s, many Jews were on the visible posts in Germany and Austria, which could have caused a Jealousy in Hitler's cruel mind, which later Manifested.

9) Fear : After achieving the goals of absolute control over Germany, Hitler feared the the loss of his empire and his dream of winning the world. In that fear, he must have gone for the easiest option of repressing Jews, from which he could so others as well, that if they attempted being against him, they should face the same.
10) Cruelty : And the most obvious, Hitler himself was cruel by nature which he has shown many times. The Nazis used to use the severe phrases like "Racial Hygiene" and others which literally meant the destruction of Jews race. It was January 40, 1942 when Hitler along with his Nazi officers decided on the upcoming disaster on Jews headed by Reinhard Heydrich in a Berlin lakeside mansion at Wannsee. The English translation of minuted excerpt :
"In the course of the Final Solution, the Jews will be brought to the east for labour. Large labour gangs will be formed, with the sexes separated, which will be used for road construction. No doubt a lot of them will drop out through natural wastage. The remainder who survive will have to be dealt with accordingly."

("Accordingly" meant the building of what were literally factories to kill people - the death camps like Auschwitz-Birkenau, Sobibor, Treblinka.)
Moreover, Hitler considered those weak (physically and mentally) people as sub-humans and was searching a way to kill them in a formulated fashion. This is when the extermination camps established in 1941, to kill thousands of people with an ease at once. The Jews, Poles, Gays, Gypsies and Russians were considered Sub-humans, and he always talked about "Racial Hygiene" with "only Aryans" residing.

Nevertheless, the above figure proves that he was not only killing Jews, he was killing Russians, homosexuals, Communists and others and it is very obvious that Nazis destroyed the records and proofs of those Holocausts around the end of war. They used Zyklon B(Hydrogen cyanide) at their gas chambers, shaved off the jews and others to make mattresses, Gold teeth taken of and most cruelly there used to be the competition of using news ideas for killing people. Most tragically, Jews were used to help murdering other Jews before they got killed themselves.

Many things about Hitler and Nazis remained mysterious including his cruelty on Jews and others, but my point is the reason must have been political than personal!
